Hi,  The answer to yesterday’s question is:  In 1973 The O’ Jays charted their huge #1 hit record…LOVE TRAIN…The record became their only #1 Pop hit, and one of their many million-sellers.  The O’ Jay charted 10, #1 Billboard R&B hits.

Today’s TRIVIA TEASER question is:  Rock and Roll legend, Ricky Nelson became one of the greatest hit makers of the “Golden Era Of Rock and Roll”, charting 63 records on the Billboard Pop chart…What is his birth name? and in what city and state was he born?

Leave your answer in the comment box or check back tomorrow for the answer.

Till the next time—Joe

  1. May 8, 1940 was Eric’s birthdate…1:25 PM. He was late: was due April 15. Ozzie was on the road in Milwaukee when it happened, as Harriett had stayed home the past two months in 1940, to have her second boy.. They actually lived in Englewood, NJ, but had Ricky in Teaneck’s hospital. Later that year Ozzie bought a different place, in the country: Tenafly, NJ. This was all at the tail-end of Vaudeville, where Ozie did Rudy-Vallee megaphone-singing in his show, even though microphones had now been invented and used for years and years….
