  1. I heard “Rumble” for the first time early in 1958, on an American Forces Network record request programme from Germany. It took weeks before I could get it here in the UK, It remains among my favourites still. Mike.

    • Hi Mike…In some areas in the US the song was banned on AM radio…because the title “Rumble” referred to fighting…Things have sure changed!!!!! Thanks, Joe
