Hi,  Thanks for stopping by today.  The answer to yesterday’s question is:  Paul & Paula charted a #1 hit record with their recording of  HEY PAUL.  Their follow-up record was also a Top 10 hit  YOUNG LOVERS  charted at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963.

Today’s TRIVIA TEASER question is:  The R&B and Doo-Wop group The Pastels charted their only Billboard Top 100 hit record in March of 1958.  The record charted at #24 on the Top 100.  Can you name the song?

Leave your answer in the comment box or check back tomorrow for the answer.

Till the next time—Joe

  1. Hi Joe. The Pastels record was “Been So Long”. I seem to remember that they had a connection to the US Air Force, and that one of the group was Big Dee Irwin, who got to No. 6 over here in Jan. 1964 with “Swinging On a Star”. All the Best. Mike.
