  1. I believe this was toward the end of the Four Lads’ hit ‘seasons’. They had “There’s Only One Of You” that hit #10 in 1958, and two more charted, “Enchanted Island” (#12) and “The Mocking Bird” (#32). Of some interest is that they were originally a backing group, and sang with Frankie Laine, and were prominent in the background on Johnnie Ray’s “Cry” and “Little Whit Cloud That Cried”. I think Columbia swapped around a few of their acts to round out various records.
