  1. Beach Boys actually had a hit before 1963’s Surfin USA – it was called ‘Surfin’ in 1962 (“Surfin – baw, dip-da-dip-da-dip, Surfin’ – baw, dip-da-dip-da-dip … Surfin is the only life, the only life for me now, surf … surf .. with me”
