THE SONG BECAME THE OPENING TRACK OF HIS FIRST CAPITOL ALBUM…”THE WILDEST!”, RELEASED IN NOVEMBER OF 1956.  THE SONG WENT ON TO BECOME LOUIS PRIMA’S SIGNATURE TUNE.  LOUIS WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 7, 1910 IN NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA.  HE PASSED AWAY IN AUGUST OF 1978, ALOUIST THE AGE OF 67.

DAVID LEE ROTH, LEAD SINGER OF VAN HALEN FROM 1973-1985 CHARTED HIS VERSION OF “JUST A GIGOLO”/”I AIN’T GOT NOBODY” IN MARCH OF 1985 AND HAD A #12 HIT RECORD ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100.  THE SINGLE REMAINED ON THE CHART FOR 17 WEEKS.  DAVID’S VERSION OF THE SONG WAS RECORDED ON THE WARNER RECORD LABEL.  DAVID DID A GREAT JOB ON HIS RECORDING…KEEPING THE SONG AS CLOSE TO LOUIS PRIMA’S A POSSIBLE.
